As promised I said I would post a COC for the clan. As you can see I have not done so yet. When I do it will be the obvious set of rules, but I'm making this thread for any suggestions or ideas you want addressed. To help me shape the COC to all current members' tastes. Posting a suggestion doesn't guaruntee it will be a rule. This thread is here to help me write a more well rounded theme.

I think the most obvious one being to keep what happened in SR from happening again. Honestly don't think we'll have to worry bout that anytime soon, but might as well get the chicken pox shot now, instead of waiting till after the site's all itchy and covered in bumps.

And on a completely unrelated note, I think I have a natural immunity to chicken pox. I've been around it so many times but never gotten it or the shot. It's nice.
But I agree with Pokedeath.

everyone must eat their daily dose of prionpuffs and kaggerjacks to keep a well rounded jedi.
but for srs, just be sure to mention that theyre agreeing to all of our rules and regulations, and that by signing, we have sort of a legal bind and if they break it we can do what we will with them. get the picture maybe? dont know if i explained it very well :/

Basically, you just sold your soul to the devil, but we won't tell you that. Yeahhh..... And now for something completely different. What if, we added something of.. Everything that happened in SR, stays in SR. Anyone who attempts to try to bring back the way SR is, something would have to be said to that person.

Spamming should be kept to a minimum. People who see they need to respond to EVERY thread with ludicrous posts or make a new pointless thread EVERY day should have their forum accounts suspended.

That's what I used to think too, but we don't really have a lot of forum activity as it is. Could you give some examples of what you think is spam and what is not? 'Cause I think that if we make a 'No spam rule' we'll barely get any posts/threads here. About 75% of the threads here could be considered 'spam', but I kinda think that's the charm of these forums.

I don't see anyone overdoing the spamming at this point. It's obvious when it happens and is up to the board moderators to control and handle. Clearly we don't want people popping in with single-word posts every three seconds, but we also don't want to stifle spontaneity or fun either. If you think someone is spamming too heavily, just let a mod know.

I think he was talking about people that keep making about 3 topics a day on random stuff about nothing, and stuff like that, not just the everyday spam everyone does around here.

I agree 100%. I'm not trying to call Lavitz (you know I think you are a great guy) out on on this, but I've seen him be rudeJaden in a few of his posts, usually mocking him and saying are you crazy. I know you guys are close, but I also knows those kinds of things can eventually get to people. Plus, it creates a hostile environment. There is a difference between cracking a joke at someone and all out attacking them. I can't seem to find an example, but some have stuck out and rubbed me the wrong way. It's not that I have anything against you Lav, I just hate a hostile environment where jokes go from being a funny comment to an attack.

Indeed you are right. A complete spam free forum is rather...boring. Everyone throws in a joke or two at one point. If we look above Jaden posted a picture of...something in reference to a specific piece of dialog posted at an earlier date. Thats fine. Was it 100% needed...no; but it creates the "Tee Hee Hee" element if you all know what I mean. But some people see this spam and like to post another spam post. and then person A replies to the spam post and so on and so forth. at this point the "Tee Hee Hee" element is gone and now people are just beating a dead horse. In short, It's only ok if its actually funny.

How do you know if it's actually funny? You post it, and we'll judge it.
