What game took you online to experience the greatness of playing on the internet and condemning you to a life of doom and uberlazyness? I was about 13 when I started playing age of empires, but I really got hooked on playing on the internet when I got Medal of Honor. Panzerschreckwh0res all over normandy beach ... the memories

I used to play Delta Force 2 online about 4 years ago. It was my first online game and I played it for a very long time with a clan and stuff. I kicked butterbean at it. Edit: ''butterbean''

When I was 10 years old, I was heavilly into America's Army. It was free and fun. I even joined a clan at one point. www.americasarmy.com its a big download, but if you have high-speed internet, try it. I might re-download it.

Just to wake things up, I'll tell a little story.
I tried logging on to JK2 MP when I first got the game. I was on dial-up at the time, on a PC that has an FPS of 17 or so even after I got cable (although I didn't know that at the time, of course). The map: Nar Shaddaa, ffa, max limit on players, and it was full.
Needless to say, my first online experience was not a good one. I couldn't move. I saw the screen, but the lag was so bad that I died before I even knew there was someone else there. I didn't try MP again for about three months, when we finally got cable.
That's when I tried JK2 again and, after noobing around on several servers, ran into Ronin on a server called Hyperstream 3.
The rest, as they say, is history. Ancient history, at this point. lol.

I haven't played any game online in almost a year. Well not true, some BF1942 late last summer. I'm just really put out by bad attitudes, lamers, selfish clans(i.e. SR) and the rest of the idiots who spoil online gaming fun.
P.S. Note to Noodles - Xerxes wants to scissor with Mrs. Garrison!

Tron convinced me to check out Eve Online. It's ok so far. I don't know if I'll continue to pursue it for $15/month.
